The Study Tool I Never Knew I Needed (But Clearly Do) | PART 4
Wine business is definitely a big one. To me, it feels almost like a mini MBA—just for wine. It’s not only about staying on top of current economic issues and trends; the real challenge is viewing them through a wine-specific lens, which often makes me feel quite insecure.
I try to relate it back to the business I do know: restaurants. Fortunately, there are many parallels between wine and hospitality, and I often find—especially when it comes to vinification as well as business—that it helps to talk to my husband Daero, who brings a ‘food perspective’ to things.
