I hadn’t—at least not until I started the MW journey. The idea of soil pH genuinely surprised me. Honestly, I hadn’t even paid much attention to wine pH before.
That said, I’ve come to really enjoy the viticulture side of the studies. There’s truth in the saying: “Great wine begins in the vineyard.”
